Charlie is a loveable 1 and half year old Lab. He was surrendered for escaping the poorly fenced yard he once lived in. He is marked as Abused/neglected only to note his amputated right rear paw. We are not sure how this happened but we want the adopter to know his special needs. He doesn't have any problems now and this may have been removed as early as birth due to a defect. Callie is a sweet girl. We saved her from a rescue as an 11 wk old pup that had been abused pretty badly. She had a development problem that caused incontinence when she was sleeping. However, it is not a problem with the medication that she is on. She is an indoor dog and has never had any trouble with controlling her bladder. She needs a home that is able to give her a bit more room and attention. She is very mellow for a lab mix. Lab Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. Labrador Retrievers are friendly dogs that are popular in multiple countries as family pets. Labs are friendly, playful, trainable dogs. Labrador Retrievers need companionship and are excellent with children and other dogs. Most labs are too friendly to make good guard dogs. Labs can adapt to apartment life with sufficient daily exercise but do best with a decent sized yard.
