Lab Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

We are moving out of state and cannot take him with us. We've tried to find temporary housing while we are in between homes but none will accept big dogs. If you can help us by fostering him until we are in home (about 3 months) or we are willing to rehome him to a loving dog family. Currently he has one brother, a smaller dog that is ok with rental agency. He is 125lbs, bloodhound/husky/lab miz. We rescued him. He mostly sleeps or plays with his brother all day. We have two children ages 1.5 and 3 and he is wonderful with them. Unsure of cats. He loves to be loved on and walked. House trained, leash trained, not off leash trained, knows ... (Read More)basic commands. Has a bad knee and arthritis but gets around well. He likes to play fetch. He is large and unaware of his size and strength. He would love to be a lap dog and is clumsy. His tail will knock things over too. He is a good, loving dog. I wish we didn't have to rehome him but I just don't know what else to do. (Less)

We are moving cross country and can not find housing that will allow us to keep a medium to large dog.

Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lilly is a sweet and mellow, happy go lucky...female, 2-3 year old mix. She gets along with most everyone, although she does hold her own if challenged. She just loves her sister Bailey and they would prefer to be adopted together, although they are willing to separate if the right homes came along. These two would be the perfect adoption for a family looking to bring in new pets, into a home that is currently pet free...because these girls comes as a familia already :) They both are small, petite gals only about 30-35 lbs each and will keep each other company all day long! The adoption cost for the pair is $125.00

Lab Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Bailey is a very sweet, small girl. Her and her bonded sister Lilly would love to be adopted together. They both weigh only about 30-35 lbs each. They get along great with each other, as well as other dogs...large and small. These two are perfect together, but would be willing to be separated for the right families. Bailey has a little bit higher energy level, but playing with her sister and other dogs suits her just fine. Cats seem to be fine, but meet and greet is required for prior pets in home. Secure yard preferred, willing to discuss options. Adoption fee for both Bailey & Lilly as a pair is $125.00

Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Dozer is a super sweet, eager to please, 8 month old neutered puppy. We have too many animals to give Dozer the one-on-one attention he deserves and needs. Dozer loves to play and is easy to train. Dozer needs a good home that can love him and he'll love back unconditionally. When Dozer was 7 weeks old, one of our other dogs snapped at him, which resulted in him loosing his left eye, but it has not effected him - he adjusted and doesn't miss a thing.

Lab Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Free to a good home wonderful dog great with kids of all ages. We love him dearly but sadly can no longer provide for him financially. He is in need of veterinary care that we are not able to afford and would rather see him go to a home that can care for him properly. He needs plenty of room to run and or a very active owner preferably with children. Although he is Lab, Coon hound, and Retriever he is NOT a hunting dog he is terrified of the sight of a rifle or shotgun. He is allergic to wheat and will not potty on hard surfaces ie. concrete, hardwood, or linoleum and is house broken.

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I am trying to find a home for my 6 year old lab/pit mix little buddy. Unfortunately I no longer have the time to devote to him like he deserves. With my workload increasing, it's going to get even less. He's been with me through thick and thin all his life and has all his shots. Zeus loves people (thinks he one of us most of the time) but does not get along with most animals (more than likely my fault). I just want him to go to a good home that will love him the way he deserves. If you are interested or know a loving and trustworthy person who is looking for a companion, please contact me. Most of my friends who have met him can contest to ... (Read More)how amazing he is, just not with other animals. I just want him to be happy. (Less)

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Otis is an amazing dog that needs lots of play time. He loves running in the foothills and mountain biking. He needs daily exercise whether it be running or playing with other dogs. He does get easily distracted outside of the house and would do great with extra training for that. He knows basic commands. He is crate trained. He knows to stay off furniture, stay out of the kitchen and to not jump (for the most part but this is mainly for new people). He looks mostly like a basenji but is a little larger because he is part lab. The adoption fee would cover his leashes, bowls and crate.

Zoey is a fun-loving 3 year old border collie mix (3 in July). She is great with most dogs and is well-trained, but she is having a hard time adjusting to our home with a toddler and a new baby on the way. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, heel, down), is great on a leash, and is trained on a remote collar for hiking. She is a very loyal dog and just wants to please. She is great with our toddler but he stresses her out. She is scared of other kids and new situations. Her favorite activities are hiking and hanging out in the yard with her people. She is a very loyal dog and is always so excited when her people return home. Zoey ... (Read More)would be great in a home with no kids (possibly older children) with an active family. She does need exercise and attention daily. Please help Zoey find a family where she can be relaxed and comfortable! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Lab in Idaho
Lab Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. Labrador Retrievers are friendly dogs that are popular in multiple countries as family pets. Labs are friendly, playful, trainable dogs. Labrador Retrievers need companionship and are excellent with children and other dogs. Most labs are too friendly to make good guard dogs. Labs can adapt to apartment life with sufficient daily exercise but do best with a decent sized yard.

lnteresting Lab Trivia Low-Cost Idaho Spay & Neuter Clinics
Labs have very gentle mouths and can even carry an egg without it breaking. One rescue lab named Jake helped dig through burning debris at Ground Zero to find people trapped after 9/11, and later helped with rescue efforts after Hurricane Katrina. Labs became popular in nineteenth century England.
