This poor girl was an owner turn in due to her ambition to play with the animals who she came into contact frequently at her previous home. Unfortunately for her, it was not acceptable to play with and hurt a baby deer and a couple of chickens around the yard. She is a wonderful girl who just made the wrong decision about those chickens (she is a bird dog for heavens sake) and that unfortunate fawn, who likely was down before she brought it home. So we want to place this purebred and very large lab girl into a home with a fenced in yard so that she can not get herself in trouble again. And she does chase squirrels too, So preferably no ... (Read More)chickens or squirrels in that yard! She has been a great dog otherwise, good with people and children that are not too small, as she can easily knock them over. She is now spayed and brought up to date on vaccines and is ready for a new home now. If interested, please let us know. She is house trained and gets along with other dogs . (Less)

This poor boy was dumped on the TRACS property with his companion Snazzy. They had not been cared for or fed for quite a while and a very bad lady decided to bring them over and dump them here. They were her sons dogs and neither were caring for the boys. They are very nice boys who just want a nice family to live with that will care for them and pet them and take them for walks and all the stuff that dogs like to do. They are very laid back boys and appear to be just fine in terms of health and personality. PIease Read Before Adopting a Lab in Montana
Lab Dogs can make good pets in Montana if they match your IifestyIe. Labrador Retrievers are friendly dogs that are popular in multiple countries as family pets. Labs are friendly, playful, trainable dogs. Labrador Retrievers need companionship and are excellent with children and other dogs. Most labs are too friendly to make good guard dogs. Labs can adapt to apartment life with sufficient daily exercise but do best with a decent sized yard.
