We are looking to rehome our 2 1/2 year old golden/lab cross. We adopted Buster a year ago with high hopes but discovered he is too much for us to handle (like his previous owners). Buster is an amazing dog with HUGE potential for the right family. He is a big love bug that's and amazing hiking buddy. He is a hundred pound lap dog that will be you forever best friend. Buster needs a home with a VERY VERY active family that will bring him where ever they go. He was sterlized (not neutered) so he has a tenancy to pee where he not suppose to the vet assured us as soon as he's neutered this behavior should stop. Buster would be an ... (Read More)amazing agility dog as he can clear a 6 foot fence and no longer respects electric fences. He does come home after checking the neighborhood out, this has come to a head with our neighbors and as we have a large farm, two young children and two full time jobs we feel we cannot correct his behavior and it really has gotten dangerous for him. I cannot express how wonderful buster would be to the right family.. Now, I will be seriously checkout anyone that is interested in adopting him. His ideal family would an active retired couple looking for a hiking buddy and a best friend. He is okay with kids and other dogs but he is a BIG testosterone filled boy who doesn't know his size. He accidentally broke my sons collar bone by running into him. He love to play with other dogs but he plays very very hard. Buster has been uprooted once and I really want to make sure this is the last time. Our heart is broken but we cannot provide him the home he truly needs.(*****please no negative comments, we are already heart broken and really don't need any negativity. Also we will require vet references and will make sure Buster goes to the perfect home by doing home visits). Free to good home (Less)

Opal, Diamond, Jade, Pearl & Onyx were reported to us by several businesses in a rural town in AR and they were getting just old enough to start getting into danger. The rescue found out that they were born under an old barn in AR. As they got older they started venturing out and they were found wandering out close too or on the road. Once this started happening, the people in the area called animal control and then Ms.Carol and her staff with rescue took over, got them to safety and named them after gem stones, and they are now known as the Jewel Puppies. They are currently fulfilling their health protocol and receiving required testing and vaccinations. They are currently living in a foster home in AR and would come north upon adoption via 'Alpha Dog Transport.' Adoption $260. (with a microchip) and $140. transport. PIease Read Before Adopting a Lab in New Hampshire
Lab Dogs can make good pets in New Hampshire if they match your IifestyIe. Labrador Retrievers are friendly dogs that are popular in multiple countries as family pets. Labs are friendly, playful, trainable dogs. Labrador Retrievers need companionship and are excellent with children and other dogs. Most labs are too friendly to make good guard dogs. Labs can adapt to apartment life with sufficient daily exercise but do best with a decent sized yard.

lnteresting Lab Trivia Low-Cost New Hampshire Spay & Neuter Clinics
Labs have very gentle mouths and can even carry an egg without it breaking. One rescue lab named Jake helped dig through burning debris at Ground Zero to find people trapped after 9/11, and later helped with rescue efforts after Hurricane Katrina. The Labrador Retriever is by far the most popular dog in the U.S. Labs are descended from St. John's Water Dogs. Labs became popular in nineteenth century England.
