Lab Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis, Deaf

Charlie is a sweet older dog, who needs a loving home who will give hime the attention that he needs. His hearing is not very good, although he can hear certain pitches like when I clap or whistle for him. My husband and I travel for my husband's job and are not able to take care of him or his brother at the level that is needed in his older age.

Lab Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Arthritis

Pete is definitely older and slowing down. He is a three-legged dog, who really likes to go for short walks but also enjoys his time laying around durning the day. He is an indoor dog and does not do well with children, as he is getting pretty tempermental in his old age. He would do great with an adult who is is able to care for him as he needs to be cared for. My husband and I travel with my husband's job and we have found people to watch our dogs in the past, but as he (they) are getting older, we would like to find a permanent home for him to live out his last days.

I like to play with well-mannered, dog friendly kids at least 10 or older and with other dogs. I am eager to fit in and please my human companions. When the 10-year-old neighbor comes to play, our 'moms' sit out on the patio laughing at our antics. Did I mention that I'm spayed, chipped and have all my shots?

lnteresting Lab Trivia Low-Cost New Mexico Spay & Neuter Clinics
Labs have very gentle mouths and can even carry an egg without it breaking. One rescue lab named Jake helped dig through burning debris at Ground Zero to find people trapped after 9/11, and later helped with rescue efforts after Hurricane Katrina. The Labrador Retriever is by far the most popular dog in the U.S.
