[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Sam is a very sweet, good-natured, and goofy character! He happily somersaults onto his back and grunts with affection when petted and is rarely seen without a smile on his face. He loves the water, endlessly playing fetch, taking walks around the neighborhood, and snoozing by your feet. He adores people and other animals, is fully house broken, and would do well in any loving home. He is an otherwise healthy dog but does have a seizure disorder that is extremely well managed with medication and a good quality dog food (he currently gets Costco brand), so fortunately seizures are a very rare occurrence for him. ...     Say hello to Copper! He is a two to three year old Border Collie Lab mix. He came to us from a local shelter where he was an owner surrender. He is a very happy go lucky boy who seems to be doing well with everyone at the Menagerie. We will see how he is with kids when the volunteers come up, but judging on his personality I'd say he'll do just fine. Copper is a very active boy who will need a home that can give him the mental and physical stimulation he needs. He already knows his basic commands and is quite smart. Copper would do well in an active family who spends time outdoors, he was so happy to be out in the fresh air and grass today. ... Lab Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Cora is in need of a solid companion. She's incredibly smart, wonderfully loyal, and a total sweetheart. She's generally a mellow dog and she loves human company, so you might find her lazily following you around the house or yard while you go about your business - just waiting patiently for your love and attention. She thrives on affection and she will snuggle up next to you or lay at your feet just as a little reminder. Cora loves people and has never shown aggression toward any human: young or old, male or female. However, she generally does not get along with other dogs, and cats freak her out too. She needs to be in a household with no ... (Read More)other pets, but would make the perfect companion for someone who worked from home, or someone who was around much of the time. She's pretty low-maintenance if you can work around the dog-aggression: she's patient, doesn't need much space to run, is happy to curl up on the couch next to you and snooze all day, and would rather hang out in the car while you run into the store than be left at home, if only for the sake of accompanying you on your adventure. She's a really good dog and deserves a really good life. All she wants is to be your one and only. (Less)

Lab Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi, I'm Odie! I'm only about 3 years old, and I love people and other dogs. Right now I'm being trained by female inmates in the Utah Department of Corrections and learning basic manners and obedience. I love the mental exercise! I would love to have another dog pal in the house to help me when I get nervous. I love to play, and love to chew on my toys, so tougher dogs toys are my favorite. I'm already neutered, house trained, and up to date on my vaccinations. If you think that I would fit into your home, please contact CWAC at 801-792-1737 or email adopt@canineswithacause.org. I would love to help make your family complete.

Brandy is a sweetheart and LOVES people. She is great with other dogs, fine with cats, and did fine with the kids that she has met. She is an active gal and loves other dogs. She would be a good dog to take to the dog park. Looking for a jogging partner? She could be it. She is also calm when she isnt running around. She is ready for her furever home. She was rescued from a low kill facility because she keeps getting passed over and has been in a kennel since october. She is now going to a foster home through us and she has shown to be an amazing dog even though she has been cooped up for long. For more info please call 435-215-9282 or email ... (Read More)soutocsp@hotmail.com For more info on any animal that you are interested in please call 435-215-9282 or email soutocsp@hotmail.com. We are at the Petco in Washington, UT every Saturday from 10-4. Please note that a foster/volunteer may not be able to meet up during the week. It depends on the availability of each foster/volunteer. We do this on an all volunteer basis and all have work/family/life/etc. Since we often have our own schedules we may or may not be able to meet up with potential adopters during the week. We will make appointments with you once we have an approved application as long we are available, but we ask that you complete an application before we will make an appointment. Please note that you can get an application for either our dogs or cats on our site (www.soutocsp.webs.com). If you are interested in a particular animal or multiple animals they will most likely be at the Petco during our regular adoption hours on the weekend. Please call or email ahead of time to confirm that they will be there. An animal may be on a medical hold or a foster may not be able to bring them down or they may not be available yet. Please read the full profiles on each animal as most of the profiles say what is the best fit for an animal. For example if a dog is not doing well in a foster home with cats, then a home without cats will be required. This is the same with kids or other dogs. Most of the time it will be stated how a dog or cat is with other dogs or cats and kids. (Less)

Marley seems to be pretty young, probably around year, 2 at the most. He looks a bit like a pit, but has the lab body and coloring. His fur is very short. He is great with other dogs and kids (there are both in his foster home). He is house and crate trained. He is a very happy and playful guy. He likes to play with other dogs and would be a great dog to take to the dog park. He is not good with cats and seems to have a prey drive for them so a home without cats is a must. He LOVES to play and would love a home with children to play with. An active home would best suite him. He is mellow too, but he loves to run around and play. He is a good ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Lab in Utah
Lab Dogs can make good pets in Utah if they match your IifestyIe. Labrador Retrievers are friendly dogs that are popular in multiple countries as family pets. Labs are friendly, playful, trainable dogs. Labrador Retrievers need companionship and are excellent with children and other dogs. Most labs are too friendly to make good guard dogs. Labs can adapt to apartment life with sufficient daily exercise but do best with a decent sized yard.
