Ranger is currently in Texas, he would love to find a home in Vermont at end of May. He has been in a foster home with no luck finding a forever home %8F He is a VERY smart guy! He's fine with cats and good with laid back/submissive dogs. He loves people, children scare him. He should go to an adult only home or with older children. His foster in Texas can no longer keep him due to health issues and he will be heading to the shelter if we can't find a home in Vermont for him.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Lab in Vermont
Lab Dogs can make good pets in Vermont if they match your IifestyIe. Labrador Retrievers are friendly dogs that are popular in multiple countries as family pets. Labs are friendly, playful, trainable dogs. Labrador Retrievers need companionship and are excellent with children and other dogs. Most labs are too friendly to make good guard dogs. Labs can adapt to apartment life with sufficient daily exercise but do best with a decent sized yard.
